I am a registered clinical psychologist, working in private practice in West Auckland since 2011, after five years working in a Child, Adolescent and Family community mental health service in South Auckland. Since 2009 I have also been involved in providing specialist assessment and therapy around gender identity issues.
Life can offer us rich experiences and wonderful opportunities, but it can also be complicated, stressful and challenging at times and most of us need a helping hand once in a while. I am committed to providing friendly and professional support, and to developing a caring and respectful therapeutic relationship with my clients. I use evidence-based psychological interventions to help young people, adults and their families make sense of difficult situations, learn skills to manage difficult and painful thoughts and feelings, and to change unhelpful behaviours. I enjoy working with people of all orientations, cultural worldviews and social backgrounds.
